Saison 2 Carnet De L Apothicaire

Okay, okay, confession time. I spent a completely unproductive afternoon last week. I blamed it on "research," but let's be honest, it involved a lot of rewatching scenes from Carnet de l'Apothicaire, specifically the ones with Jinshi looking ridiculously handsome (don't judge me!). And then it hit me – season two is looming! How are we all doing? Holding up alright? The wait is killing me.

Which brings me to the burning question: What can we possibly expect from season two of Carnet de l'Apothicaire? We left things at a pretty tantalizing point, didn't we? That cliffhanger... UGH. Rude!

The Obvious: More Maomao!

Let's face it, the heart and soul of the show is, undeniably, Maomao. We need more of her snarky observations, her insatiable curiosity about poisons (relatable, right?), and her general badassery. I'm hoping season two delves even deeper into her past. We've gotten glimpses, but there's still so much mystery surrounding her parentage and her unconventional upbringing. Will we finally get a full-blown backstory reveal? I'm placing my bets now: it's going to be epic.

And of course, more Maomao means more opportunities for her to solve bizarre medical mysteries. Bring on the strange ailments, the suspicious deaths, and the botanical conundrums! I'm ready for it. (My notebook full of "potentially useful poisons" is also ready... don't ask.)

Jinshi's Schemes (and Smiles?)

Ah, Jinshi. Our perpetually smirking enigma. Season one gave us tantalizing hints about his true identity and his motivations, but honestly, he's still a bit of a mystery wrapped in a gorgeous package. We know he's playing a long game, but what is it? Will we finally see his master plan unfold? And more importantly, will we see him crack a genuine smile? (I'm not talking about the "I'm-manipulating-you-but-looking-charming-while-doing-it" smile. I want the real deal!)

Speaking of Jinshi and Maomao... let's talk about the tension. It's practically palpable, isn't it? Will season two finally give us some actual romantic development? Or will they continue to dance around each other, exchanging witty barbs and veiled compliments? Honestly, either way, I'm here for it. But a little something would be nice, just saying.

New Characters, New Conspiracies

Every good season needs fresh faces to stir things up, right? I'm expecting season two to introduce new characters, both allies and enemies, who will challenge Maomao and Jinshi in unexpected ways. Maybe a rival apothecary? A scheming noblewoman with a secret agenda? The possibilities are endless!

And with new characters come new conspiracies. The palace is a hotbed of political intrigue, and I'm sure there are plenty of secrets lurking in the shadows. I wouldn't be surprised if season two throws us into an even deeper web of deception and danger. Hold on to your hats, folks!

My Personal Wishlist

Okay, time for some selfish requests. I'd love to see more of the other palace women, especially the courtesans. They're such interesting characters, and I think there's potential to explore their stories in more depth. Also, more scenes with Lihaku! He's adorable and deserves more screen time. And finally, please, please, please give us a glimpse of Maomao's father. I'm dying to know more about him!
