Athena, the big boss lady, reincarnated in the form of Saori Kido. They each wear a Cloth, a sacred armor representing a constellation. Think Iron Man, but way more celestial and less techy. They fight using their Cosmos, which is basically their inner power unleashed (sort of like ki in Dragon Ball, but fancier).
The main squad? Seiya, Shiryu, Hyoga, Shun, and Ikki. Each with their own tragic backstory, of course! Gotta have that dramatic flair, right?
The Good, the Bad, and the Totally Over-the-Top
What makes Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque so addictive is the sheer level of commitment. These guys are willing to go to the ends of the earth (literally!) to protect Athena. They'll fight gods, monsters, and even each other! The battles are epic, often involving yelling special attack names that would make even the most seasoned anime fan giggle. "Pegasus Ryu Sei Ken!" Try saying that five times fast.
And let's not forget the Cloth. Oh, the Cloth! Every kid dreamed of owning one of those. I secretly wished to get the Phoenix Cloth (Ikki's so cool, right?) The designs are so iconic and memorable that, even now, decades later, you can instantly recognize them.
Of course, it's not without its flaws. The plot can get convoluted, and the power levels... well, let's just say they fluctuate wildly depending on what the plot demands. But, hey, it wouldn’t be a classic without some quirks, would it?

Despite the dated animation and the sometimes-questionable plot, Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque holds a special place in the hearts of many.
